SUNNYVALE, Calif., October, 2012 – The foundation technology developed within SBG Labs is the electrically switchable Bragg Grating. This technology has not only enabled the development of waveguide based near-to-eye, heads-up and pico projection display applications, but the architecture can also be used to enable a rage if imaging applications, including fingerprint scanners used by Department of Homeland Security for biometrics applications.
